QWEST PIONEERS AND FRIENDS BRIGHTEN VETERAN’S HOME DAYROOM |

On April 12, 2008 Bob Clark, President of the MN Qwest Pioneer Life Member Club and 4 friends, Kara Malec, Heather and Greg Hinke and Mary Kopet volunteered to paint a large dayroom for residents at the Minnesota Veteran’s Home in Minneapolis. Kathy Hanson joined the painting crew too. |
| Because of funding shortfalls, the MN Veteran’s Home relies on volunteer help with many refurbishing tasks. Bob learned of the need for the room painting while arranging a Pioneer membership recruitment concert in January. | This volunteer opportunity was listed on the PALS system prior to the action date.
