| Today June 3, 2010 the Qwest Pioneers had an official presentation of the Fitness Balls that the Minnesota Qwest Pioneers helped me raise to get these "special" chairs for the children in 1st through 4th grade. Hundreds of children will benefit in their learning because of this project. The four adults on the Fitness balls are from left Laura Wilcox Special Education Instructor, Renee James Principal, Randy Hanson Gym instructor and long time friend of mine (in back row) and Gary Greb. The children lined up anxiously waiting for their chance to try out their new "class room chairs". They also presented me with a very nice thank you plaque for helping them with this project. |
